Athlete of the Week: Samantha Kahn

Name: Samantha Kahn

Graduating Class: Class of 2012

Team: Marlborough Panthers Girls Varsity Basketball and Soccer Teams 

Position: Kahn is the point guard of the basketball team and plays forward on the soccer field. She is the captain of both teams. 

When asked what she enjoyed most about the sports she plays, Kahn said, "I love the competitiveness and the speed of the game play."

Stats: In the Panthers last basketball match-up, Kahn scored 15 points, made six assists and had four steals. They won 53-27 over St. Peter Marian High School.

Highlight: "Probably a big highlight for me was sophomore year when we beat Notre Dame basketball—a really good team—with a game winning shot in the final seconds.

What's next: Kahn will attend the University of Tampa in the fall as business major. She plans to play intramural basketball.
