First Marlborough Chase Bank Branch Opening
The Boston Post Road Chase branch is part of a larger expansion in Massachusetts, with the bank aiming to double its footprint.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — The first freestanding Chase Bank branch will open soon in Marlborough, part of the company's plans to double its footprint in Massachusetts.
The branch will open in the plaza at 189 Boston Post Road West. That's not a far move for the bank: Chase operates an ATM in nearby the Hannaford supermarket.
JP Morgan Chase is embarking on a plan to double its presence in Massachusetts by 2025. The first Chase branch in the state opened in Boston in 2018, and there are now 36 locations across the state.

Plans for the new Marlborough branch went before city council for a public hearing on June 5. The plans call for the branch to have a drive-thru, with an estimated 10 to 15 vehicles at the branch during normal hours, according to a traffic study.
The branch will be next door to the McDonald's and Raising Cane's restaurants. The owner of that McDonald's sued Raising Cane's over driveway access at the small shared parcel west of the I-495 off-ramps.
