Long Heat Wave In Marlborough: See Temperature Predictions
Get ready for temperatures at 90 or above through at least the end of the weekend.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Get ready for a week of heat you won't be able to escape, even at night.
The first real heat wave of summer 2022 will begin in Massachusetts on Tuesday, and it'll be a long one: temperatures will be near or above 90 degrees every day through Sunday, according to forecasts.
The heat will be slightly worse in inland and southern Massachusetts this week. The heat index in Worcester, for example, could reach 98 and 99 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday. Boston will hit 96 and 98 on those same days.

There won't be much relief when the sun sets each night. Temperatures will remain in the 70s during overnight hours. Most of this week will also be sunny, with a chance of rain showers on Thursday, according to forecasts.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. West wind 10 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.
Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 70. West wind around 7 mph.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 95. West wind around 7 mph.
Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 72. South wind around 7 mph.
Thursday: A chance of showers after 9am. Partly sunny, with a high near 95. South wind 9 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 68. West wind 6 to 8 mph.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 88. West wind 7 to 9 mph.
Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 68. Southwest wind around 5 mph.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 91. West wind 6 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. Southwest wind 3 to 6 mph.
Sunday: A chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 89. Southwest wind 5 to 9 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
