MARLBOROUGH, MA — Christmas is over, and that means it's time to take down the trees — tinsel and all.

In 2022, Marlborough will collect and dispose of Christmas trees from city residents through Jan. 16. There will also be a curbside collection on Jan. 10 only. Trees should be placed at the curb the night before.

Here's where you can drop off a Christmas tree in Marlborough this year:

  • Parking lot at Memorial Beach (Causeway Street at Hosmer Street)
  • Ghiloni Park, 265 Boston Post Road
  • Parking lot at 45 Jefferson St., across from Kelleher Field
  • Jericho parking lot at 410 Brigham St.
  • Felton Conservation Area, 798 Elm St.
