Kids Hunt for Eggs in Annual Marlborough Tradition
Area children plucked plastic eggs from a Marlborough park during its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday.
Organized by Marlborough's Fraternal Order of the Eagles, an annual Easter Egg Hunt brought local children to Ghiloni Park Saturday morning to pluck 20,000 plastic eggs from the turf.
The 23rd annual Easter egg hunt offered frozen treats and a variety of costumed characters to delight the 800 children who participated.
Event coordinator, Jim Hollis, said this is the Eagles' biggest event of the year, and requires hundreds of volunteers and more than $8,000 worth of candy and plastic eggs.
