Man Charged With Threatening Man With A Steak Knife Over Money
The charges include assault to murder after a fight broke out at a Marlborough home last week.

MARLBOROUGH, MA—A neighbor called police after hearing a fight in the driveway next door, leading to an arrest of a man who allegedly flashed two steak knives at another man, demanding money.
On Sunday, Oct. 21, around 1:43 p.m., police responded to a disturbance at 76 Rice St., where two Hispanic men were reportedly fighting in the front lawn. The victim said that Irbis Monrroy, 30, Marlborough, had come into the room holding two steak knives and pointed them at him, said police.
The argument, according to police, started over Monrroy being angry that the victim allegedly owed him $500, and he swung the knife close to the victim, saying, "Give me my $500 or I'm going to kill you."
