March 25-27: Arrests Made in Vehicle Stops, Assault

Here is a sampling of calls the Marlborough Police Department received Friday, March 25 through Sunday, March 27. All arrests are reported.

Friday:

1:40 a.m.: A criminal complaint is filed during a motor vehicle stop in the area of Lincoln and Mechanic streets. 

11:13 a.m.: A report of harassment is given to police at 27 Royal Crest Dr.

12:18 p.m.: There is a 209A (proximity) violation at the Modern Guest House, 8 Cotting Ave. Apt. 32. 

1:14 p.m.: Harassment is reported at Stone Gate Apartments, 40 Saint Ives Way Apt. 13.

2:13 p.m.: Officers take a report of a past breaking and entering at Liberty Hill Apartments, 240 Main St. 

4:22 p.m.: A report of harassment is taken at the Whitcomb School, 25 Union St.

7:20 p.m.: MPD responds to an instance of larceny at 39 Orchard St. 

7:35 p.m.: Sex offenses are reported at the Stone Gate Apartments, 52 Saint Ives Way Apt. 32. 

 

Saturday:

12:38 a.m.: A citation/warning is issued in the vicinity of East Main and Francis streets. 

7:15 a.m.: Jose Mirlane Costa, 24, of 224 West Main St. Apt. 3, is arrested in a motor vehicle stop in the area of Granger Blvd. and Court St. on charges of failure to yield/stop, driving with a revoked/suspended license, operator giving a false name, arrestee furnishing a false name, and two outstanding warrants. 

8:05 a.m.: Officers respond to a domestic disturbance at 52 Newton St. and arrest Alvaro Carvalho Junior, 28, of 48 Newton St. Apt. 2, on charges of assault and battery. 

10:32 a.m.: Services are rendered when police investigate suspicious activity on Patten Dr. 

11:43 a.m.: Larceny is reported at 30 Boudreau Ave. 

2:50 p.m.: There is a motor vehicle accident with injuries reported at 99 Granger Blvd.

5:32 p.m.: A disturbance is reported at Princeton Green Condominiums, 760 Farm Rd. 

7:13 p.m.: A vandalism is reported at the Hampton Inn, 277 Boston Post Rd. W. 

 

Sunday:

12:10 a.m.: A missing person is reported at the Stone Gate Apartments, 85 Silver Leaf Way. 

12:22 a.m.: Police check and secure the Richer Elementary School, 80 Foley Rd., after the burglar alarm sounds. 

1:24 a.m.: A citation/warning is issued at 346 Lincoln St. in one of many early Sunday morning motor vehicle stops.

3:36 a.m.: A motor vehicle stop in the area of Lakeside Shell, 413 Lakeside Ave., leads to the arrest of David L. Mannuzza, 21, P.O. Box 435, Chelmsford, on charges of marked lanes violations, speeding in violation of a special regulation, and an outstanding warrant. 

10:24 a.m.: An auto theft is reported at 18 Huntington Ave. Apt. 2. 

11:49 a.m.: Steven J. Britt, 45, of 16 Little Pond Rd., Plymouth, is arrested at Price Chopper, 240 East Main St. for shoplifting $100+ by asportation, possession of a class B substance, and receiving a lost credit card. 

12:57 p.m.: Harassment is reported at 135 East Main St. 

5:21 p.m.: Shoplifting is reported at GNC, 197 Boston Post Rd. W. Apt. C. 

11:41 p.m.: MPD assists in an ambulance call at 130 Edinboro St.
