6:30 p.m., Advance 'Arty Art Party', Autumn at the Grist Mill, Post Road Art Center. This is a fee-based event ($85) in which you paint your own copy of an artistic masterpiece. All materials supplied.

7 p.m., Dessert Theater at Marlborough High School, three one-act plays performed and directed by students, and served with dessert!

8 p.m., The House of Blue Leaves, Ghost Light Players of MetroWest, First Church, Marlborough.

Solomon Pond Mall hosts Santa Saturday, presented by The Children's Place, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
