Marlborough Man Distributed Child Porn, Federal Prosecutors Say
The grand jury indictment follows the 45-year-old's arrest in July, federal prosecutors said.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — A Marlborough man who was arrested in July on charges related to child sex abuse materials has been indicted by a grand jury, according to federal prosecutors.
Larry Stephen, 45, was initially arrested on July 18 and charged by criminal complaint. A grand jury in Boston found probable cause to charge him with receiving child pornography, distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography.
Law enforcement officials searched Stephen's Marlborough home in June, discovering a cell phone loaded with child sex abuse materials, prosecutors said. The phone showed Stephen was both receiving and posting the sex abuse images on social media sites.
