Marlborough, Sudbury Team Up For Veterans Health Event

Local veterans can attend the event to learn about services and programs available to them.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — The Marlborough and Sudbury Veterans' Services agency this weekend will host an event where local veterans can find information about health programs available nearby.

The Saturday event at the Marlborough Senior Center, 40 New St., will feature state and local nonprofits and organizations offering information abut benefits and support programs. Organizations like the Mass Association of Reflexology, Sweats for Vets, WarriorWithin and Veterans Northeast Outreach will attend the event.

“We have coordinated with the VetCenter, VA-Boston, SAVE Team, State Veteran Services, VA-Bedford Holistic Care, Video Games for Vets, Sweats for Vets and local EMS staff to provide blood pressure and vitals testing,” Veterans Services Officer Mike Hennessy said.
