Marlborough Veterans Day Parade, City Council Committee to Discuss Meals Tax

1. The Marlborough Veterans Day Parade is Monday, beginning at 10 a.m. and will finish at 11 a.m. Please mind the road closures.

2. The Marlborough School Committee meets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The agenda includes discussion of the MetroWest Adolescent Health Survey.

3. The City Council Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee on Tuesday will discuss the proposed meals tax, of .75 percent of the gross amount for restaurant meal bills.  The funds would be directed to a Parks and Fields Development Special Revenue Fund.

4. The Urban Affairs Committee of the Marlborough City Council meets on Wednesday. The agenda includes just one item: A request for a special permit for an indoor inflatable playground on Brigham Street.
