The 20th annual Marlborough Project Clean Sweep happens Saturday, and residents, businesses and community groups can sign up now.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — With Earth Day on Monday, Marlborough's annual citywide litter pickup will happen this weekend.

The 20th annual Project Clean Sweep will be a focal point for residents, businesses owners and community groups to fan out across the city and pick up litter. The city will provide bags to collect trash, and gloves on the day of the event.

The event will begin Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Department of Public Works headquarters, 135 Neil Street. Groups that have registered to do a pickup can pick up gloves and bags there.
