New Family Meetings For Those With Substance Use Disorder

The group starts with instruction on mindfulness and a mindfulness practice, then splits up and the supporters have their own group meeting.

MARLBOROUGH, MA—A recovery center in Marlborough is now offering a monthly meeting for family members and loved ones of people affected by alcohol and drug addiction.

Prana Recovery Centers (PRC) is a nonprofit organization serving the MetroWest area dedicated to working with people who suffer from substance use disorder and those who love them.

"We find that people in recovery from drug abuse who have informed and supported loved ones do better in their recovery," said the announcement. "This is also a free support group for people in recovery from addiction."

Those in recovery have an AA Big Book Workshop meeting.

Meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month, and the next meeting is Oct 10.
