Police Log: MPD Make Arrests on Warrants, Assault and Battery

Friday, Dec. 9:

3:53 a.m.: There is a motor vehicle accident with injuries near a residence, 314 Cook Ln. 

9:18 a.m.: Russell L. Pedchenko, 31, of 16A High St., is arrested on an outstanding warrant after police serve him at Walgreen's, 99 Granger Blvd. 

12:46 p.m.: Matthew E. Hernandez, 22, of 139 West Main St., is arrested at , 355 Bolton St., on four outstanding warrants this charges of speeding/driving on a suspended license, several counts of assault and battery, defacing property, throwing objects in a public place and destruction of property over $250.

8:08 p.m.: A 209A (proximity order) violation is reported at 56 Harrison Place, Apt. 1L. 

11:01 p.m.: After responding to a report of an erratic motor vehicle operator in the vicinity of Lincoln and Highland streets, Michael A. Ziemba, 53, of 118 Elm St., is arrested on his fourth offense OUI liquor, subsequent offense operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and failure to drive in the right lane. 

Saturday, Dec. 10:

2:20 a.m.: A citation/warning is issued during a motor vehicle stop in the area of Boston Post Road East and DiCenzo Blvd. 

4:09 a.m.: A building is checked and secured after a suspicious motor vehicle is reported at the Homestead Village, 19 Northboro Rd. E. 

6:15 a.m.: A domestic disturbance is reported at 63 Chestnut St.

8:56 p.m.: A citation/warning is issued during a motor vehicle stop in the area of Grant St. 

Sunday, Dec. 11: 

1:01 a.m.: Police respond to a report of an assault with a knife at ., 399 Berlin Rd. . 

9:48 a.m.: Michael B. Dunlea, 29, of 4 Turner Ridge Rd., is arrested during a disturbance at the same address and charged with two counts of assault and battery. 

2:49 p.m.: An act of assault is reported to police at a residence, 22 Hildreth St. 

3:45 p.m.: Reponding to a report of larceny at , 627 Donald J. Lynch Blvd., officers arrest Erica Vazquez, 22, of 214 Blossom, Apt. 1, Fitchburg, and charge her with an outstanding warrant, larceny over $250 and assault and battery. Also arrested is Jennifer P. Martinez, 23, of 15 Chestnut St., Apt. 1, Fitchburg, who is charged with shoplifting over $100 by concealing merchandise and receiving stolen property under $250. 

5:20 p.m.: MPD responds to a domestic disturbance on West Main Street and arrest Lee H. Knollenberg Jr., 38, of 261 West Main St., Apt. 1, on charges of assault and battery. 

5:22 p.m.: A stolen car is reported at the Dumais Realty Rooming House, 34 Central St. 

11:07 p.m.: An act of vandalism is reported at 909 Elm St.
