'Promoting Peace' — Marlborough Democrats Hosts Public Forum
There will be public speakers, including Sen. Jamie Eldridge.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — The Marlborough Democratic City Committee’s Peace Subcommittee is hosting a free public forum next week.
The event, titled Promoting Peace in the Age of Polarization, will feature public speakers, including Joshua R. Snyder, Associate Professor of the Practice in Theological Ethics at Boston College; State Sen. Jamie Eldridge (D-Marlborough); and Julia Franco, a BC student studying conflict resolution.
“We’ve been planning this event for several months, and the need for it, nationally and internationally, has only become more acute since then,” said MDCC’s Barbara Fenby, who chairs the Peace Subcommittee.
