Quarterly Marlborough Food Drive Returns This Month
The Marlborough Democratic City Committee is collecting a range of items, from diapers to gift cards.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — The local Democratic Party is back this month with its quarterly food drive. The event benefiting the Marlborough Community Cupboard is seeking to collect items ranging from diapers and beans to gift cards.

The Marlborough Democratic City Committee (MDCC) will hold its quarterly collection drive of food, personal items, and funds to benefit the Marlborough Community Cupboard on Saturday, April 27. MDCC conducts four drives each year.

Donors should drop their items off at the Navin Arena lower parking lot, 451 Bolton St., Marlborough, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine. Non-perishable food, personal care items, and financial donations, including gift cards, are welcome.
Needed items include:

- Children’s diapers, especially sizes 4-5.
- Shelf-stable milk
- Pasta
- Cereal
- Canned beans (no garbanzos), vegetables, and fruits
- Jelly and jams.
- Bottled juice
- Toiletries
- Instant or canned potatoes
- Baking mixes for muffins, cakes, and breads
- Adult incontinence products
