Severe Weather Alert Issued For Marlborough, Framingham Areas

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Severe weather may be on the way to western Middlesex County Tuesday afternoon.

The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for an area covering Marlborough southeast to Walpole. The statement says hail and winds up to 40 mph are possible.

Severe weather outbreaks were popping up across the state Tuesday afternoon, with severe thunderstorm warnings in effect for southern Worcester County and areas around the Quabbin Reservoir.
