Storm Inbound: Marlborough, Framingham Under Weather Advisory
A quick thunderstorm may roll through Marlborough, Framingham and Wellesley during rush hour Friday.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement covering Marlborough, Framingham and Wellesley.
The weather service says a quick thunderstorm may roll through the area before 5 p.m. The storm has the potential to bring pea-sized hail, rain and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
Thunderstorms were popping up across the state late afternoon, with highly localized storms detected in the Boston area, Merrimack Valley and northern Worcester County.

The National Weather Service advised local residents to seek shelter until the storm passes around 4:45 p.m.
