Traffic Cone Assault In Marlborough Ends In Holden Man's Arrest
The 21-year-old was arrested at a Lincoln Street bar in Marlborough over the weekend.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough police arrested a 21-year-old from Holden over the weekend after he assaulted three people using a variety of implements, police said.
A Marlborough officer was driving by The Prospector saloon along Lincoln Street near 2 a.m. Saturday when he noticed a fight in the bar's parking lot. The fight broke up as soon as the officer approached.
After reviewing surveillance video, police saw that the Holden man had hit one person with a glass bottle, breaking the glass in the process. He then picked up a traffic cone and hit two other people with it, police said.

The Holden man was arrested on three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to Marlborough police. Police believe the fight started due to intoxication.
