1873 Harborfront Home Sells for $3.45 Million in Vineyard Haven

On top of the purchase price, the buyer paid a $69,000 fee to the Martha's Vineyard Land Bank and $15,732 in state excise tax, according to the deed of sale.

A Weston woman is the new owner of a spacious home overlooking Vineyard Haven Harbor, complete with waterfront and a boathouse.

Kathleen A. Katterhagen purchased 42 Crocker Ave., Vineyard Haven Aug. 26 for $3,450,000, according to Dukes County land records.

According to Zillow, the six-bedroom, four-bathroom home, originally built in 1873, has 4,643 square feet of living space on a 1.74-acre lot with waterfront and a boathouse. It had been listed at $3,700,000.
