Christmas in Edgartown Friday Activities
Here's a rundown of what's happening today as part of the Christmas in Edgartown Celebration
- Open House at The Anchors: Enjoy a Chili Bar, Guacamole, Chips and a performance by Vintage Voices at 1:00 pm. They will be singing popular hits and conducting a Christmas sing-a-long. 10 Daggett Street. 11 am - 1:30 pm
- Inns of Edgartown Tour and Refreshments – Come on a tour of the , , , and . 2 pm – 4 pm.
- Always a favorite is the Teddy Bear Suite at the . Come see Teddy Bears, in holiday-inspired attire on display. There will be photo opportunities and books to read plus a raffle and donation to benefit the . 2 pm – 8 pm
- Enjoy the at the from 4 pm - 6 pm
- There will be Children's Christmas Movies in the Menemsha Room of the from 4 pm – 6 pm
- Take photos with Santa to benefit at the from 4 pm – 7 pm. $8
- The Hand Bell Choir plays holiday carols on the porch of the Harbor View Hotel from 5 pm – 6 pm.
- The Lighting of the Edgartown Lighthouse happens at 5:30 pm and then enjoy hot chocolate and goodies at the with music and caroling until 6:30 pm.
- There is a festive Horse and Carriage Ride between the Mini Park on Main Street and the Harbor View Hotel. Meet friends and sing carols as you ride. 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
- There will be a Wine and Cheese Party with a Raffle at the at 2 South Water Street from 6 pm – 8 pm
- The Minnesingers Holiday Soiree will feature cocktails and a sumptuous supper to benefit Martha's Vineyard Preservation Trust. At the beautifully decorated Dr. Fisher House - the perfect prelude to the
- There will be more Christmas Movies in the Menemsha Room of the Harbor View Hotel, this time cocktails will be available for purchase. 7 pm - 9 pm
- There will be a lantern lit Guided Ghost Walking Tour of Edgartown. Begins at the Mini Park on Main Street at 7:30 pm and goes to 8:30 pm. $10.00, Children under 8 Free
- End the night with the Minnesingers Holiday Family Concert. Enjoy the Island's premier student choral group - the MVRHS Minnesingers in concert at the - the perfect venue for this beloved holiday tradition. 8 pm
