An ugly sweater party, a holiday open house at Morning Glory, and the stuff-a-bus fundraiser are all on for today

1. The Stuff-a-Bus Food Drive happens tonight at the . Presented by the and the MV Boys Hockey Team. 4 pm – 10 pm
2. There is a Holiday Open House at this evening. Come by the farmstand to celebrate the holiday season with a brass band, a fire, Christmas trees, chestnuts and holiday cheer. Chef Judy will be on hand to whip up some of her best winter recipes so you can eat, drink and be merry! 5 pm
3. Fourth graders at the Tisbury School will be presenting “The Ant and the Grasshopper and the Beanstalk,” a play they created themselves. 6 pm. Free. Refreshments will be served.

4. The Martha's Vineyard Film Festival is screening the award winning film, the Artist at the Capawock Theater in Vineyard Haven tonight. 7:30 pm. $5 for members and $10 for general admission. Plus, bring your ticket stub to Zephrus and get 10% off your meal.
5. Tonight come down to the for the 2011 Ugly Sweater Holiday Dance Party! Have a blast and help raise money for the Red Stocking Fund. Bring an unwrapped toy for an island child and receive free entry. There will be prizes for the best (ugliest) sweaters, so get into Grandpa’s closet quick! Dance the night away with performances by: The ISLAND THUNDER SoundSystem, DeeJay Ricky Prime with his Dancing Elves and more. 9 pm – midnight. 21 and older.
