Five Things You Need to Know Today: December 20

1. The Friends of the big used book sale begins half price days today. Hardcover books are $.50 and paperbacks are two for $.25. The sale goes on during regular library hours. 

2. Join in the farmstand loft for farm inspired stories and songs. Parents can shop, get lunch or just hang out while kids socialize with other pre-schoolers. 11 am.

4. Chef Benjamin Deforest offers a tasting menu every night but Monday at   Reservations suggested, but not required.  It is five courses, whole table participation and the cost is $68 per person. Chef Deforest delivers the courses and discusses them with the table explaining the ingredients, taste, construction and sources.

5. The Jazz Duo of Jeremy Berlin and Eric Johnson play tonight at in Oak Bluffs from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.
