Today there is an Arts & Culture Collaborative forum at the Hebrew Center, a WCAI Pub Night at MV Chowder Co. and Wampanoag Cooking at MVRHS

1. Story Time for Older Toddlers and Preschoolers takes place every Thursday at the West Tisbury Free Public Library. 10:30am.

2. Comic Mime Robert Rivest presents “Literacy Alive” a show for kids age 5 and up this afternoon at the Vineyard Haven Public Library. 3:30 pm - 4:15 pm. For more information call 508-696-4211.

3. There is an Arts & Culture Collaborative Community Forum this afternoon at the Hebrew Center in Vineyard Haven to present a review of the accomplishments of the past year and plans for 2012 and beyond. 4. Join the hosts, staff and reporters of WCAI, along with other NPR listeners, at one of their Pub Nights tonight at the MV Chowder Company in Oak Bluffs. 5 pm – 7 pm.

5. ACE MV and the Martha’s Vineyard Museum give you the opportunity to explore culture through cuisine tonight: Cooking Through Cultures: Wampanoag Cooking at the Martha's Vineyard Regional High School. Kristina Hook-Leslie will share a recipe passed down from her ancestors as she prepares venison stew in the Wampanoag tradition. $35 (plus a $10 material fee that goes to the instructor). Sign up for the series of five classes for $135, and save $40. Museum members, MVYPS staff, and seniors, take an additional 10% off on the series or each class.
