Five Things You Need to Know Today: January 1

1. The is holding a benefit class this morning.  Funds raised will help TYC buy new props and supplies for the studio. Support the Island’s only non-profit yoga studio. This rocking vinyasa class taught by the TYC staff is sure to be the best way to start your new year off right! 10 am

2. There is a New Year's Day Run/Walk that starts at the this morning followed by a potluck at the American Legion. No fees for the race, but participants are asked to bring a dish for the potluck. Race starts at begins at 10 am. For more information, call 508-627-2598.

3. Come to in Vineyard Haven this afternoon for New Year's Lobster Rolls. Lobster roll, chips and beverage for $15, hotdog $3, slice of pie $4. Noon - 2 pm. For more information, call 508-693-0332.
