Five Things You Need to Know Today: January 6

1. The Library is holding an Agricultural Fair Photo Collection Day today. Local authors Susan Klein and Alan Brigish are collecting historical images for a new book on the history of the Agricultural Fair. Photos will be scanned and returned on site. 2. Tickets go on sale today at noon for the 26th Annual Big Chili Contest. Tickets are available at in Vineyard Haven and in Edgartown. The cost is $30 a ticket and there is a limit of 4 tickets per person.

3. kicks off their annual  $.25 wings & $1 Oyster promotion today. 3:30 pm - 5:30pm.

4. Jellybone Rivers and the Maniacs of the Heart with DJ DI and Brad Tucker are playing tonight at the Pit Stop in Oak Bluffs (Next to ). Doors open at 6:30 pm and the suggested donation is $10.

5. The Friday Night start tonight. Choose your own toppings and put them on whole wheat, plain or gluten free crust. 6:30 pm – 9 pm
