Green Affordable Homes Available in Vineyard Haven
The Island Housing Trust is selling two of the Wentworth Way townhouses to income qualified home buyers on a first come first serve basis

The is selling two of the Wentworth Way townhouses on Lake Street for $225,000 to income qualified homebuyers earning 100% or less of the area median income ($60,7000 for an individual, $69,200 for a two person household, $77,900 for a three person household, and $86,500 for a four person household).
These two townhouses are being sold to qualified homebuyers on a first come first serve basis.

Wentworth Way is a small neighborhood of six homes located in three duplex buildings on a 1.38-acre parcel of land on Lake Street in Vineyard Haven, designed by MacNelly Cohen Architects of West Tisbury and LDa Architects of Cambridge. Four of the six homes will be completed as part of the first phase of construction in the spring of 2012. The second phase of construction for Wentworth Way will involve a third duplex, which is anticipated to be completed in the winter of 2013.
These 1,150 square foot two-bedroom one and a half bath townhouses will meet high-energy efficiency (Energy Star Home Plus) and performance standards, with foam insulated walls, high efficiency heating and ventilation systems; insulated basements, off-street parking, town water, shared septic systems; and kitchen appliances.
