MARTHA'S VINEYARD, MA — The former summer retreat of the Obama family during the former president's first term is up for sale.

Blue Heron Farm, in Chilmark on Martha's Vineyard, is listed by MGS Group Real Estate for $39 million.

Not only did the property host the family, but it also served as the backdrop for some presidential history. It's reported that then President Barack Obama addressed the nation at the home after Hurricane Irene, and issued press statements there after the death of Senator Ted Kennedy.
