New At The Fair: Corn Husking Competition and High Flying Frisbee Dogs

There are two new, not-to-be-missed events that have been added to the 151^st this summer.

First up is the High Flying Frisbee Dogs. These high-flying pups previous performances include NFL, NBA, MLS, Minor League Baseball, ESPN, Animal Planet, TV commercials, magazine covers, Fairs & cooperate events. They will be performing at the Ag Fair on Thursday, August 16^th and Friday, August 17^th.

Already creating quite a buzz is the newly added Corn Husking Competition that will take place for the first time this year. This competition is for kids ages 6-18. Each entrant will have 6 ears of corn to husk. The winners are based on speed and cleanest cob (least amount of husk and silk left). All husked corn stays with the Ag Society for animal feed. An entry form for this event is in the Fair Book. The deadline is Thursday, August 16th at 1 pm to enter. Ribbons will be awarded to three places. The event will be held on Friday, Aug 17^th at 2 pm.
