Weekly Medford 'Black Lives Matter' Vigil Ending After 5 Months
A demonstration held weekly out in front of the Unitarian Universalist Church will conclude Tuesday.
MEDFORD, MA — A "Black Lives Matter" demonstration held weekly in front of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Medford is set to conclude Oct. 27. The vigil started in May after the death of George Floyd and took place from 5-6 p.m. on Tuesdays.
The church felt after the time change on Nov. 1, the demonstration would no longer be visible.
Members of the community joined together weekly to show their support for justice and equality, which the church says is an ongoing commitment.
