Early Voting Begins In Melrose
There are two elections that residents will be able to vote early in this week.
MELROSE, MA — Voters across the city this week will be able to vote early in two elections. Early voting for the presidential primary and state special election begins Monday morning and lasts through early Friday afternoon.
Early voting is only available at the Council Chamber in City Hall. Voters can hit the polls from 8:30 a.m. - 4 pm. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:30 - 8 Thursday and 8:30 - 12:30 Friday.
Eligible voters can vote in the presidential primary and the special election for the 32d Middlesex District House seat formerly held by Mayor Paul Brodeur. Democrat City Councilor Kate Lipper-Garabedian and Republican candidate Brandon Reid will be on the ballot.
