Lyons Tennis Courts Near Reopening Following Renovations

Melrose’s Lyons Tennis Court is nearing its reopening after closing to undergo renovations.

The newly-renovated courts, which are dedicated to former Mayor Richard D. Lyons, are set to reopen to the public on Tuesday, September 22 at 9 a.m.

The City of Melrose would like to invite the public to the special reopening ceremony.

Following a brutal winter, the courts were closed and used as a snow dump. The rebuilding process commenced in May and was recently completed.

The courts are located at the corner of Tremont Street and the Lynn Fells Parkway.
