1:44 p.m. Report of suspicious, possible drug-related activity on Mount Vernon Street.

5:06 p.m. Two drunk women in Town Line Inn lobby. Taken into custody by Malden Police.

7:13 p.m. 911 caller reported two women trying to go behind counter at on Main Street in an effort to get money. Problem solved prior to officers’ arrival.

10:57 p.m. Melrose-Wakefield Hospital called reporting a fight in front main parking lot.

Friday, July 6

11:22 a.m. Caller upset because woman has more than two dogs in the dog park. Police called , spoke with Ruth Clay about the rules in the dog park. Responding officer reports only one dog in the park.

11:41 a.m. Walk-in report of bike stolen from Lake Avenue.

5:20 p.m. Walk-in report of damage to property on Grandview Avenue.

10:40 p.m. Malden Police reports , suspect left the area north on Lebanon Street heading toward Melrose in a silver Honda or Nissan Maxima driven by a black male. Information given to all units.

Saturday, July 7

6:11 a.m. Caller requests cruiser to Forest Street home, would give no other info and hung up. Verbal argument, people separated.

6:42 a.m. Officer reports a LoJack hit on car at Forest Street and Lebanon Street, comes back confirmed stolen out of Everett to a 2000 Nissan Maxima, color gray. Malden Police notified.

7:46 a.m. Caller reports fight in progress on Vine Street. Officer reports it was just workers yelling over the machine noise.

8:32 p.m. Caller from Edgemere Street reports GPS stolen from her car but does not wish to make a report at this time.

Sunday, July 8

12:39 p.m. Walk-in report from Cutter Street of a possible past break-in attempt.

1:06 p.m. Complaint of damage to property on Avon Street.

1:17 p.m. Vandalism damage to property on Swains Pond Avenue.

Other Arrests and Summonses

A 60-year-old Malden man was issued a summons on Monday, July 2 on the charge of violating an abuse prevention order.

Paul R. Quinn, 35, 44 Sherman St., Revere, was arrested on Thursday, July 5 on the charge of violating an abuse prevention order and on a warrant for failure to appear.

Joshua J. Gilbert, 39, 190 Warwick Road, Melrose, was arrested on Thursday, July 5 on the charge of domestic assault and battery.
