Central Street Bridge To Close One For Final Paving In Milford

MILFORD, MA — The long-awaited Central Street Bridge renovation is almost complete.

The bridge, which officially reopened to drivers on Oct. 29, will be closed one more time for final paving on Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The highway department asks drivers to find an alternate route during that time.

The project was initially expected to be completed by mid-October, but unforeseen challenges, such as material shortages, engineering changes, and heavy rain, delayed the opening.
