Driver Cited After Hitting Milford Pedestrian: Police
Thursday's incident was the second pedestrian collision in Milford over the past week.
MILFORD, MA — A driver was cited Thursday morning after hitting a pedestrian along Congress Street near Brookside Elementary School, according to Milford police.
The collision happened around 8 a.m. at 106 Congress St. The pedestrian was taken to UMass Memorial in Worcester, but police said the person's injuries were not serious. Police did not disclose the pedestrian's age or gender.
The driver was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center police said, but will be cited for "multiple infractions."

This is the second pedestrian collision over the last week. Near 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 2, a driver hit a pedestrian along West Street near the Dairy Queen. The pedestrian was taken by helicopter to UMass Memorial with serious injuries, police said.
