
It’s the most wonderful time of the year and Greater Milford Community Chorus will present its joyous annual holiday concerts on Saturday, December 6 at 7:30 PM and Sunday, December 7 at 1:30 PM in the Grand Ballroom at Milford Town Hall.
This year’s concert, “The Greatest Gift” will be performed by the 60-member chorus, under the direction of Mark Schiappucci, accompanied by Wayne Ward on piano, Robert Orr on bass and Renato Malavasi on percussion. The Grand Ballroom at Milford Town Hall has been transformed into a beautiful winter wonderland, sure to make the entire experience merry and bright!
The performers have made it their goal to inspire and connect with audience members, promising to give them an unforgettable unique experience. The repertoire features music from long ago Medieval times right up to traditional and modern favorites. To name a few of the songs to be performed: John Rutter's In the Bleak Midwinter and Star Carol, a recent Jonas Brothers hit, Like It's Christmas, Ding Dong Merrily on High, A Light of Hope a Song of Peace and a Hannukah favorite, We Are Lights, as well as two Josh Groban hits, The Prayer and The Greatest Gift.

Long-time GMCC member Lisa Mather will perform The Very Best Time of the Year; Kathy Vescera will perform her first solo with GMCC, Christmas Stays the Same; and John Goulart and Gina D’Ottavio will perform together again presenting a gorgeous duet, Sebastopol Carol. Wayne Ward will be performing a delightful piano solo, Thankful, by David Foster and Carole Bayer Sager, and audience members can raise their voices during the sing-along!
Tickets can be purchased at Music & Arts, Main Street, Milford for $10 each, or at the door for $12 each. Children under 10 are free.
