Milford Declares Parking Ban Ahead Of Nor'easter

Here's where not to park in Milford during the major snowstorm coming this weekend.

MILFORD, MA — With a big snowstorm headed toward Milford this weekend, the town has declared a parking ban for the duration of the storm.

Beginning Friday at 10 p.m., parking will be banned on all public streets across Milford, according to the town. If you leave your car on the street during an emergency ban, you can expect a $25 ticket and your car might be towed at your own expense.

The nor'easter coming this weekend will bring some of the highest snow totals so far this winter, according to forecasts.

According to the latest forecast, Milford is in a zone that could see between 12 and 18 inches of snow beginning early Saturday morning, according to the National Weather Service. Winds will also be a problem during the storm, with gusts up to 40 mph beginning Friday evening.
