MYC Monthly Thanks You's For November!

The Youth Center would like to extend a very appreciative thank you to the following list who donated items and/or their time to the Center:

• Thank you to all the businesses and individuals that donated and volunteered for our annual After School Thanksgiving Meal;
• Carrie McGrath for donating an Oculus for the Center to use as a raffle item;
• Raydio, DoubleTree of Milford and to everyone who donated gifts to Raydio’s Holiday Toy Drive to help stuff a bus full of gifts (running until 11/30/25 until 12 pm at the DoubleTree)!
• United Way of Mass. Bay and Merrimack Valley for donating $147.35 to the Center during their Employee Giving Campaign;
• Senator Ed Markey and State Representative Brian Murray for visiting the After School Program (for photos, click here);
• Donna Lancault for sponsoring 5 families for the holidays;
• Michelle Faherty for donating bead making kits, crafts and Christmas decor to the Center;
• Coffee Haven in Holliston for donating left over bagels and pastries to the Center;
• The Milford Lions Club for donating Pancake Breakfast with Santa tickets;
• Teachers Driving Academy to offer students a great program, at a reasonable price, with added convenience of taking classes right at Milford High School;
• YouthWorks for the opportunity to employee youth during their full-year program;
• Milford Food Service Program, CACFP and the Hockomock YMCA for providing dinners and snacks to our after school members;
• Spoonful’s for saving food in our local communities and providing it to the Center for our families to have weekend food bags;
• Hockomock Area YMCA for continuing to offer their Mobile Food Truck to our participants once/month;
• UMass Memorial Health – Milford Regional Medical Center for collaborating on our wellness and fitness programming;
• The Department of Veterans Services for inviting the Youth Center to participate in the Veterans Day parade;
• The MYC Youth Council participants and speakers at the Veterans Day Parade;
• Community Autism Services for inviting us to have a table at their open house;
• MHS After Prom Party Inc. for inviting us to have a table at their “Gallery of Arts & Crafts Fair”;
• The Milford Lions Club for donating tickets to their pancake breakfast with Santa event;
• Ray Auger and his morning show, Raydio for having us on his morning show to share about our upcoming events twice this month (click here to learn more about our Holiday outreach and here to learn about December programming);
• Cornerstone of Milford’s Nancy Christie, Barbara Winters, Maddison Britto and Leah Martel for doing their monthly craft program making sand art;
• Seven Hills Foundation for helping pack our weekend food bags for our families;
• Milford TV’s Dominique and Chase for running our Milford TV program for the afterschool program and interviewing the Senator with the youth, see full interview here;
• Milford Public Schools for allowing Program Coordinator Joanna to come in and share about our program;
• Volunteers/Outside Services: Bill Farrell, Judy Tusino and Pamela Hunter for packing the afterschool dinners; Vicki Parabicoli for running our monthly sewing program; Brian Bell for running our boxing program; Dee Burley and Phyllis Foley for running our gardening program; Pam Goldman and Mike Gillis for running a cooking program; James Brevigleiri for volunteering during the after school program; for all our Board Members for meeting monthly to help oversee this amazing asset to the community!
