New Parking Restrictions Slated For Milford
Milford will have new several new parking rules going into effect Nov. 1.
MILFORD, MA — Milford will have new parking rules going into effect Nov. 1.
The Select Board made the following recommended changes to the town's traffic regulations, according to Milford police:
- Increase parking distance from driveway corners to 10 ft.
- Increase distance from corners of all intersections to 30 ft.
- Change the entire length of Grove Street (odd-numbered side) to a no parking zone
- Paint the following intersections as Tow Zone, No Parking: West Spruce Street at Congress Street; South High Street at Water Street; West Street at Union Street. The intersections will have a white box painted to delineate 30 ft. from the corners.
The police department will "reassess the parking concerns throughout the town" and "monitor the effectiveness of these changes."
