"The traffic impacts are needed to support Massachusetts State Police crash reconstruction operations and will include a full closure of Route 85 southbound in the vicinity of the I-495 exit 50 interchange," the agency said Monday afternoon.

A detour will be in place directing southbound Route 85 traffic onto I-495 and north to exit 54A in Hopkinton, where drivers can then take southbound I-495 back to Route 85 in Milford. Drivers attempting to reach Route 85 southbound from I-495 should instead get off at exit 48 at Route 109.
