Friends of the Milton Public Library Annual Meeting to Feature Dessert Tasting

The Friends of the Milton Public Library annual meeting, which is scheduled for Sunday, May 19, at 2 p.m., will feature a special tasty addition this year. 

Clare Garland, the pastry chef at the Ashmont Grill, will hold a dessert demonstration and tasting at the meeting this weekend. The meeting will take place in the library's Keys Community Room.

Garland, a Newberry College graduate, has worked at Ashmont Grill for the past seven years.
