Milton Town Official Resigns After Using Anti-Biden Phrase
After receiving backlash from the community, Steven Fruzzetti stepped down from his position of trustee of Milton Cemetary.

MILTON, MA — A Milton elected official stepped down from his position after using a phrase used to insult President Joe Biden during the town's Memorial Day ceremony last week.
Steven Fruzzetti resigned as trustee of Milton Cemetary, Town Administrator Annemarie Fagan confirmed Monday. His resignation was first reported by the Patriot-Ledger.
A video posted to Youtube shows Fruzzetti thanking residents and volunteers, but finished by saying, "Anyhow, welcome and let's go, Brandon," and leaving the podium.

"Let's Go Brandon" has become code for saying "F--- Joe Biden" in the Republican party. The saying started in 2021 during a NASCAR race after Brandon Brown won. While Brown was being interviewed, the crowd was heard chanting behind him, and the reporter thought they were saying "Let's go Brandon," but were actually saying "F--- Joe Biden."
Patch has reached out to Fruzzetti for comment and will update when we learn more.
