Police Log: Dog Bites Postal Worker, Evening Home Break-in

This is an excerpt from the Milton Police Log on Thursday, May 30. Where arrests or charges are mentioned does not indicate a conviction.

The following information was provided by the Milton Police Department.

  • At 6:09 a.m. Thursday, a caller from Capen Street reported his vehicle was broken into sometime overnight.
  • At 7:05 a.m. Thursday, a caller from Cliff Road reported her car was broken into during the overnight hours.
  • At 9:41 a.m. Thursday, a caller reported a breaking and entering to his motor vehicle on Byrne Road.
  • At 11:22 a.m. Thursday, Milton Fire reported a postal worker was bitten by a dog on Randolph Avenue and Reedsdale Road. The party was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton. The Animal Control Officer was notified. 
  • At 11:25 a.m. Thursday, a caller reported a suspicious party walking with a possibly stolen lawn mower on Rustlewood Road and Marilyn Road. An officer reported the lawn mower was put out for the trash and the party had permission to take it.
  • At 8:57 p.m. Thursday, a 911 caller reported a past breaking and entering to a Frothingham Street home. The crime occurred sometime between 5 and 6:30 p.m.
