Police Log: East Milton Business Break-ins

The following information was provided by the Milton Police Department.

• At 5:05 a.m. Tuesday, a commercial alarm was reported at the back door of East Milton Wine and Spirtis. An officer reported a break into the building. A safe was compromised and money was stolen. A suspect, observed on surveillance video, is described as a male wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.
• At 7:02 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported Milton Cleaners was broken into overnight. Entry was gained through a rear door. Money was reported stolen.
• At 10:53 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported the smell of smoke in the area of Church Place. Milton Fire reported a large brush fire near Quarry Hills in Quincy.
