Police Log: OUI-Suspect Leaves Accident, Sailboat Break-in

The following information was provided by the Milton Police Department.
- At 2:51 a.m. Saturday, a 911 caller reported an unknown vehicle blocking a Laurel Road driveway, making it impassable. Attempts to contact the vehicle owner were unsuccessful. A citation was issued and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
- At 9:50 a.m. Saturday, a caller from Rose Street reported his home was broken into overnight. An officer confirmed the break. Nothing was missing at the time of the report.
- At 1:08 p.m. Saturday, a caller from Lyman Road reported his home was broken into overnight. Detectives were notified.
- At 1:17 p.m. Saturday, a 911 caller reported a party struck a mailbox with a motor vehicle on Old Farm Road.
- At 5:59 p.m. Saturday, an officer on patrol was approached by the owner of a sailboat at the Milton Yacht Club, who reported a past attempted breaking and entering. The victim reported sometime in the past week, an unknown perpetrator attempted to pry open the cabin hatch of his boat.
- At 8:45 p.m. Saturday, multiple 911 callers reported a hit and run accident on Pleasant Street. Officers located the suspect vehicle on Ridgewood Road. One adult female was placed under arrest for OUI-Liquor, negligent operation, leaving the scene of an accident and person under 21 transporting liquor. The prisoner was released at 10:50 p.m.
