Radio Coffeehouse Seized by Department of Revenue

The Department of Revenue seized Radio Coffeehouse in Milton for "nonpayment of taxes," on Tuesday June 11.

A bright orange sign with the word "seized" is posted on the front door of the closed business. The sign reads that Radio Coffehouse LTD "is now in the possession of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts."

The sign also warns that "any person who attempts to tamper or interfere with this property will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law."

Radio Coffeehouse is not the first business on Central Avenue to be seized by the Department of Revenue this year. In February, Wildflour Cafe was also seized for nonpayment of taxes.
