The 36th Annual Milton Road Race will be held tonight, rain or shine. The 5K and 10K races will begin and end at Cunningham Park. The Road Race is the Milton Junior Woman's Clubs biggest annual fundraiser. The Milton Police Department will be closing some roads and delays can be expected on several others. According to Lt. Kevin Foley, Gun Hill Street, Highland Street and the northbound lane of Centre Street will be closed during the race. Traffic will also be affected on Randolph Avenue, Pleasant Street, Edge Hill Road, Canton Avenue and Brook Road. Foley said the two races are usually wrapped up by 8:30 p.m. Residents are advised to seek alternate routes during the road race.

The Milton Road Race 5K and 10K will begin at 6:30 p.m. tonight at Cunningham Hall.
