Town Administrator Candidate: Grady Miller
Grady Miller is one of the four finalist for Milton Town Administrator.

Grady E. Miller, who most recently served as Town Manager in Narragansett, RI, is one of the four finalists for Town Administrator that interviewed with the Milton Board of Selectmen on Monday, February 25.
"I'm very excited about the opportunity to work in this town," Miller said.
At a special meeting last May, Miller's contract in Narragansett was terminated. Miller has 26 years of government experience in Arizona, California and Rhode Island.

Before moving to Rhode Island, Miller spend 20 years working for the City of Peoria, Arizona. He served as Deputy Director of Community Services, Director of Communications and Public Affairs and Assistant to the City Manager.
While Miller has not worked in Massachusetts, he explained that Rhode Island and California have policies similar to the restrictive Proposition 2.5.

Miller also discussed communication during Monday's interview. In Narragansett, Miller said he met formally with department heads every three weeks, but encouraged anyone to bring up issues when needed.
"I had an open door policy with staff and citizens as well as the council," Miller said.
Miller earned a bachelor's degree from San Diego State University and a Master of Public Affairs degree from Arizona State University.
