NEWTON, MA — The 17-year-old arrested on a warrant last week in connection with the stabbing of another teen sending them to the hospital, was charged last week, according to officials.

The 17-year-old was arraigned on armed assault with intent to murder and armed robbery charges, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan’s office.

Because the teen is a juvenile, his name has not been released and court proceedings are closed to the public. A spokesperson from the District Attorney's office said she could give no further information about the other teen involved because it was a case involving a juvenile.
