80-Year-Old Summonsed for Indecent Assault

Sunday, March 25

  • A smell of gas was reported on Maple Avenue was 10:09 p.m. The Fire Department found it was coming from the stove.
  • Gary E. Marshall, 19, 25 Wapping Road, Kingston, was arrested and charged with tresspassing.

  • An 80-year-old North Andover man, was issued a summons on two counts of indecent assault and battery on a person over 14.
  • At 11:38 a.m., an explosion was reported at Jessica's Brick Oven. The gas company was notified. There was no fire.

Tuesday, March 27

  • At 2:45 p.m., police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident on Osgood Street.
  • At 3:23 p.m., kids on go-karts were reported on Woodcrest Drive.
  • At 5:19 p.m., a fire was reported in an apartment on Foulds Terrace. The fire department extinguished the fire.
  • At 10:27 p.m., a resident of Empire Drive reported two people knocking on her door. It turned out to be her father-in-law.
  • Jeannette Rojas, 50, 3941 Sickles St., New York, N.Y., was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license and on two warrants.
  • Juan J. Hernandez Jr., 27, 41 Woodlawn Court, Lawrence, was arrested on a warrant.

  • Emergency personnel responded to a Farrwood Avenue residence after a person was cut multiple times on a shower door.
  • At 10:45 a.m., a person walking on Second Street heard glass break and saw a mini van leave the area at a high rate of speed. Police found nothing out of the ordinary.
  • At 2:45 p.m. a cat was reportedly struck by a car on Sharpners Pond Road.
